Jordan Gardner joins TFG’s Commercial Specialist Group

Twenty First Group is excited to announce the appointment of Jordan Gardner as an Investment Intelligence Specialist joining our Commercial Specialist Group. Twenty First Group’s CSG provides clients with further access to real-world, in-market domain expertise from renowned industry practitioners drawing on TFG’s ground-breaking insights and analysis already being provided to clients today.

Jordan brings practical experience in the world of sports investment, most notably in football clubs around the world. His perspective in the sports investment landscape will complement Twenty First Group’s advisory services and IP development as the company builds on Investment Intelligence’s significant growth and success in recent years.

Commenting on the appointment of Jordan, Twenty First Group’s Managing Director of the Americas AJ Swoboda said: “Attracting someone with Jordan’s practical knowledge from his experiences in sports investment reinforces the merits of our Investment Intelligence services and our convictions on where the sports investment community is heading.

We have been laser focused on providing clients with a modern form of investment advisory services that reflects M&A expectations across non-sports industries. By integrating complex sporting, commercial, and financial analysis in a manner not possible with traditional advisors, we are helping our clients strengthen their investment theses, navigate the market, mitigate risk, and maximise their chances of success.”

On joining the Commercial Specialist Group, Jordan says: “I’m thrilled to work alongside the incredibly talented people at Twenty First Group and leverage my end-to-end expertise as an operator and investor in professional football. I have always admired TFG’s industry leading data intelligence and client base, and I look forward to helping TFG clients on M&A, club operations and investment strategy.”

AJ continued, “By Jordan first getting exposure as a minority shareholder and then by taking the reins and representing majority ownership as club chairman, his first-hand operational experience spans the sports investment process in a manner few in this industry can compete with – raising capital to invest, evaluating investment opportunities, successfully investing in multiple clubs, turning around a club’s sporting operations and securing promotion, and ultimately selling the club to new buyers.

Across league and team investments, we are committed to providing current and prospective investors with the very best insights and advice to drive sporting success and unlock commercial value. I’m delighted to welcome Jordan to the team and look forward to seeing the positive impact he makes to TFG’s Investment Intelligence clients.”
