Ending Europe’s dominance through a three-pronged strategy
Challenge
Europe had won back-to-back Solheim Cups, dominating the foursomes format. The USA wanted the Cup back.
Solution
Our three-pronged strategy focused on using our Intelligence Engine to help select the optimal team, turn the tide in foursomes, and maintain momentum throughout the event.
Working hand-in-hand with team captain Stacey Lewis and her vice-captains, our analysis and simulations underpinned the team’s approach at both the 2023 and 2024 events.
Impact
Team USA reclaimed the Solheim Cup in 2024, after a tie in 2023. Winning the foursomes 11-5 proved critical, having lost 27.5 – 20.5 over the previous six Solheim Cups despite matching Team Europe in the other formats.
