Twenty First Group moves into cricket and becomes specialist consultants to the ECB’s High Performance Review

We are excited to announce that Twenty First Group will be working with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) as part of their comprehensive High Performance Review into English Cricket, with the aim of helping the England Men’s cricket team to be the number one side in the world across all formats. We are delighted and honoured to have been selected by the ECB to perform the role of specialist consultants as part of the review process resulting in strategic recommendations to help the England team achieve greater success.

Our work with the ECB highlights that senior stakeholders across sport now recognise the unique power and value of Twenty First Group’s Intelligence Engine, which helps organisations identify drivers for sporting success, and ultimately unlock long-term commercial value. This appointment also demonstrates that Twenty First Group’s intelligence is now being applied across multiple sports, beyond our traditional expertise in sports of football and golf. In the months ahead, we expect to make further announcements about our work in other sports too.

Commenting on Twenty First Group’s involvement with the project; Chief Intelligence Officer and Twenty First Group project lead Omar Chaudhuri said:

“We look forward to supporting the ECB through this ambitious and important process. We are excited to be able to apply not only some of our cricket intelligence, but to also take lessons from experiences in other sports having worked extensively in elite football and golf. The rigour and quality of the High Performance Review process is something that organisations in all sports can look to as a source of best practice.”
