Understanding player trajectory
We were asked by a talent agency to help them understand the value of the stable of another agency they were in the process of acquiring.
Working alongside a talent agency that was in a due diligence process to acquire another agency, we were able to support the buyer on understanding the mid-to-long-term trajectory of players in the seller’s stable.
This included making projections about players’ earning potential given market conditions and predicted performance, as well as highlighting risks and opportunities to grow value within the stable.
The buyer was able to make an informed decision about the future value of the stable, and challenge the seller on predicted earnings based on objective evidence.
