TFG powered Premier League Predictions and Insights
BT Sport were faced with the dual challenge of ambitious subscription growth targets and a 75% drop in marketing budget. In order to help them achieve these targets with a significantly reduced budget they asked us for our help.
We worked with BT Sport to create ‘The Script’, a set of BT-branded predictions for the upcoming Premier League season, powered by TFG insights and simulations. The Script’ aimed to provoke discussion and engagement with BT Sport amongst pundits, players and social media ahead of the season (the key purchasing point for fans).
‘The Script’ helped BT Sport achieve 137 million media impressions across 44 markets, driving 30% growth in BT Sport subscriptions. The initiative also won the Marketing Week Awards for ‘Data Driven Marketing’ and ‘Brand Storytelling’.
