Valuing Commercial

Helping a club to understand the value of it’s commercial assets


We were asked to Identify a data-driven estimate for the value of Brentford’s commercial assets, including front-of-shirt sponsor, kit supplier, and matchday income.


We built a model based on a number of variables across brand, market, and performance categories to identify the key drivers of commercial value. This helped the club plan for various scenarios for key revenue drivers, primarily based on the model’s findings.


Our model identified a potential ~30% uplift in commercial assets value if Brentford managed to remain in the Premier League for the 2022/23 season.

If Brentford can become a mid-table Premier League club over the next three years, there is an opportunity to increase their assets value by ~50%.
